Little Gems was created and developed in 2017 by three certified dance teachers from Abbotsford, BC.

 

Rebecca Goritsas, a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certified Ballet Teacher with experience of over 20 years of teaching, had an idea to create a fun, creative dance program for little ones that met her criteria as both a dance teacher and mother. She wanted a program that would encourage movement, expression and musicality skills in young students, and be a solid foundation of dance skills for years to come.

 

Soon, Rebecca brought her idea to two passionate and dedicated dance teachers, who themselves had a vision to create not just technically, beautiful dancers, but respectful, loving human beings through dance. Krista Tingley, a certified RAD and Acrobatic Arts teacher, and Danielle Bremner, a mother and a highly sought-after choreographer in the lower mainland loved the idea and soon Little Gems Dance Academy was born.

Little Gems Dance Academy is dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to young children.  Our experienced, certified teachers are here to promote dance to your child and give them every tool a child needs to become their best.  All of this is done through creativity and fun!
